This type of hosting allows businesses who are using the same kind of resources, platforms, and other parts of their infrastructure, but still need to maintain their own space. Businesses who want to be part of the community can still draw from and use other resources when necessary, but still get all the benefits of a dedicated hosting service when they are within their own specific “cloud.”

For those that are looking to get a little bit of everything, there is hybrid cloud web hosting. As the name suggests, this is a combination of both public and community cloud hosting. This type of hosting has many advantages for businesses who want to get some of the most affordable cloud hosting available, but still want to hold onto their high priority on cloud resources.

The last type of cloud hosting is private cloud web hosting; and as its name suggests, this cloud is completely owned, privately, by the business wanting to use the cloud. Nothing is shared in the way of resources and the user base is very small. While it may seem as though private cloud hosting has the most benefits for the business owner, it’s enormously expensive. And it’s because of this last fact that experts generally only advise huge corporations to invest in private cloud hosting. And even then, only if they need a huge amount of resources that a dedicated server can’t provide.
